This is a scene I created to showcase a Protectron model I made during my free time. The entire room is heavily inspired by the Fallout video game universe, where the Protectron is prominently featured. To enhance the scene's authenticity to the games, I designed several additional pieces inspired by the Fallout universe, including a Nuka Cola bottle, a laser rifle, and parts from another robot I previously made called Mr. Handy. For added detail outside the room, I incorporated a model based on the G6 Rhino, a South African artillery vehicle, which I had built earlier. Finally, I added some posters from the game to the walls for even more detail.

For the scene's lighting, I initially utilized Blender's Cycles engine. To enhance the atmosphere, I then added volumetric effects using Blender's nodes in the shading tab. This added a sense of depth and realism to the environment. Next, I placed lights within the scene, hanging them from the ceiling to achieve the desired illumination in the main corner of the scene. Finally, I added meshes to the room and applied an emission node along with a color ramp to simulate natural light streaming in through the window, further enriching the scene's ambiance.

The entire scene took approximately three days to set up and consists of around 70,000 vertices. The rendering process, including various tweaks and compositing adjustments, took an additional day to achieve the final result. For those interested in seeing more images and following the work-in-progress journey, you can view the project on my ArtStation account.
